EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

Griff Duncan
Producer

Co-founder and General Manager Griff Duncan has produced over 130 musicals, bringing over 40 years of theatrical company management to the organization. He also has 30 years of fortune 100 company executive experience, having negotiated labor contracts with most major labor unions in the U.S., and represented the corporations in over 300 labor arbitrations. He was a member of the financial planning committee for a 120 million dollar annual operating budget.

Jan Duncan
Artistic Director

Co-founder and Artistic Director Jan Duncan has performed on stage with well known Broadway actors and has directed forty two (42) musicals , many with well known actors, including John Raitt.

Griff and Jan Duncan started their producing and directing careers in 1961 as the co-founders of the Contra Costa Musical Theatre in Walnut Creek, CA. where they produced fourteen musicals before heading to Southern California. In 1972 they co-founded the Fullerton Civic Light Opera which is currently working on its 130th production. The Fullerton Civic Light Opera has grown to be one of the top 100 largest resident professional musical theatres in the United States. FCLO has received numerous awards over the years, the most recent being the prestigious 2005 Ovation Award for Best Musical, Best Direction, Best Actress, and Best Actor.

FCLO is the third largest supplier of scenery and costumes, which they manufacture, for Broadway Musicals in the United States.

STAGE PRODUCTION

Donna Parsons
Resident Stage Manager

Production Stage Manager Donna Parsons has organized and supervised the installation of scenery into the Plummer Auditorium for 26 years. Her intimate knowledge of this theatre is invaluable in determining how various equipment can be used.

Donna directs every aspect of a show once it moves into the theatre. This kind of knowledge/expertise for an individual theatre is rare.

In addition to her function as Resident Stage Manager, Donna is sometimes the co-designer of our theatre set configuration.

Scenic Operations Manager

Rental and Scenery Construction Manager Larry Knigge supervises inventory, construction and installation of our scenery. Larry works closely with our scenery rental customers offering expertise and experience in helping to develope numerous stage productions throughout the United States. SALES & MARKETING

Marilyn Gianetti
Director of Group Sales, Marketing & Public Relations

Marilyn Gianetti has been on staff with FCLO for over 18 years. Her long association has enabled Marilyn to develop many deep, personal relationships with FCLO patrons. On a first name basis with established season subscribers, Marilyn provides the kind of personal assistance that defines quality customer service.

First time FCLO theater-goers will find Marilyn offering helpful advice with seating, directions and dining choices. She manages our tour groups of 20 people to over 100, and works closely with community education professionals to provide study guides and similar educational outreach to both adult and student learning groups.

Marilyn also functions as FCLO's special events coordinator. Anyone who has attended one of her events, whether a New Year’s Eve celebration, an opening night “bash” , a closing “wrap”, or by invitation only "Insiders View", understands Marilyn knows how to throw a party. Her creativity and attention to detail ensures that everyone has a great time.
